About the surface

Midnight Vein quartz worktops

Midnight Vein uses a near-black, slightly cool-toned base with a web of fine smoky-grey veins. The movement is visible at close range but remains subtle enough for large worktop areas and darker minimal kitchens.

It is a useful alternative to plain black because the fine veining adds depth without turning the worktop into the only focal point. Long runs, utility areas and islands can all use the same surface while maintaining a consistent dark palette.

Pair it with matte black or dark walnut for a tonal scheme, or contrast it with pale cabinetry and brushed stainless-steel details.

Design notes

Pairing Midnight Vein

Midnight Vein works with matte black, charcoal, dark walnut and pale neutral cabinetry. Stainless steel and brushed nickel keep the scheme crisp, while timber prevents the overall look becoming too cold.

Everyday care

Looking after the surface

For routine care, use warm water, a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Wipe tea, coffee, wine, oil and strongly coloured spills promptly, then remove cleaner residue with clean water.

Use a chopping board for preparation and protect the surface from hot cookware. Follow the current supplier guidance for specialist cleaners and maintenance products.
